The splendid Valsesia, an enchanting natural landscape that is carefully preserved, offers its visitors the opportunity to explore exciting routes on the ski slopes or to enjoy the adrenaline of off-piste.
A total of 180 kilometers of slopes, which are regularly covered with snow and carefully prepared, allow skiers to enjoy total freedom and safety. The runs cater for every ability level, from beginner and kiddie runs to 10 kilometers of black runs and alternative trails that wind through ever-changing landscapes, ideal for more experienced skiers.
The ski lifts of the Monterosa ski area, for many years considered one of the excellences in Europe, start from the 1200 meters above sea level of the village of Alagna Valsesia and reach up to 3270 meters of Punta Indren, in the heart of the Monte Rosa massif.
These plants connect three valleys: Alagna and Valsesia, the Gressoney valley and the Ayas valley, and connect two regions, Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta.
